These paintings capture moments in a lost childhood before the children depicted grew up.

Sand Castles (Nambucca River, NSW)

oil on linen

Height: 60cm Width: 76cm Depth: 4cm

PRICE: $1,850

Sand Castles captures a quiet moment of childhood freedom at the water’s edge. I was drawn to the contrast between every day life and the fleeting nature of childhood. A temporary world shaped by small hands, where every castle formed can be washed away and built again. Sand Castles is ultimately a celebration of imagination, togetherness and those uncomplicated moments that remain with us long after the tide has gone out.
